About Me

Hi hey everybody, my name is Mandi! Ever since I was young the Lord has blessed me with a passion for paint and lines on paper that has never died out! I have been nicknamed an “eggshell artist” because I believe that detail and delicacy are part of what makes illustrations beautiful and eye-catching. I specialize as a whimsical artist using contrasting colors and delicate lines to make ordinary subjects beautiful. I love working with traditional media the most, such as watercolor, India ink, and colored pencil. There is a certain joy that is appreciated by both the artist and the viewer when every pencil smudge and bright color was left on the paper by hand, and I seek to communicate this joy to others.
